چکیده
Flexor carpi radialis (FCR) tendonitis is described as an uncommon condition that causing pain at the palmar aspect of radial wrist. FCR a middle-aged which tends to affect dominant hand. Patients with usually presents and swelling over side Resistance against deviation wrist may illicit tenderness. tendinitis can be diagnose clinically, however, radiographs MRI help confirm diagnosis. Management includes physiotherapy, oral anti-inflammatory medication, steroid injection surgical decompression. Surgical release showed high rate symptomatic satisfaction, reduced recurrence.

Fiber length variability within the flexor carpi ulnaris and flexor carpi radialis muscles: implications for surgical tendon transfer.
PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to understand the detailed architectural properties of the human flexor carpi radialis (FCR) and flexor carpi ulnaris (FCU) muscles and their implications for tendon transfer surgery. METHODS Muscle fiber length was measured in 6 separate regions of the FCU and FCR from 10 cadaveric specimens. Sarcomere length was measured by laser diffraction for normali...
متن کاملEndoscopic Ganglionectomy of Palmar Ganglion via Flexor Carpi Radialis Tendoscopy
Palmar ganglion is rare. Deep palmar ganglion usually arises from the wrist joint and may cause compression neuropathy. Superficial palmar ganglion may arise from the flexor tendons of the wrist. The chance of compression neuropathy is expected to be less than deep palmar ganglion. However, there is a higher chance of perforation through the skin and the ganglion may affect hand grip. Open rese...
متن کاملGranulomatosa - An Uncommon Clinical Presentation with its Non - Surgical Management
Cheilitis granulomatosa is characterized by recurrent or persistent swelling of one or both lips. The exact etiology is not certain. It may represent oral manifestations of Crohn's disease and sarcoidosis, so the complete diagnostic work up of the patient with suspected Cheilitis granulomatosa is a must. Microscopically, a non-necrotizing granulomatous inflammation is the typical feature. Manag...
متن کاملFlexor Carpi Radialis Brevis: An Unusual Anomalous Muscle of the Wrist
During imaging studies or surgical procedures, anomalous forearm and wrist muscles are occasionally encountered. Among them, the flexor carpi radialis brevis is very rare. Because the trend is growing toward treating distal radius fractures with volar plating, the flexor carpi radialis brevis is worth knowing. Here, we report two cases with a review of the literature.
